You see, we’ve got well over 120 year of combined experience working with Mercedes automobiles just like yours.

Who We Are
Bruce J. Howes, our owner, has been servicing classic German autos since the mid 1980s and leads a team of dedicated, and skilled professionals. Bruce is a nationally recognized authority and expert on the service and maintenance of both vintage and late model German and Swedish autos, with a strong focus on Mercedes Benz (in particular the coupes, and convertibles). He has a deep understanding of vehicle computer, electrical and electronics systems, and works professionally as a Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-A) when he is not assisting in Mercedes service or managing at our service center.

Bruce has been a Bosch Authorized Service Center owner since 1989, first in Buffalo, NY, and most recently in Maine. Bosch is the German company that designed and built most of the starting, charging, fuel injection, antilock braking and electrical systems of your auto. He has trained at Bosch’s U.S. headquarters near Chicago, is a frequently published author on service practices and customer satisfaction, and a consultant to other shop owners on service and management topics. Our Process
Our process is rather unique, as it is both car and owner centric. We want to hear about your plans for your car, and we’ll work with you to develop a repair, service or maintenance strategy based on your needs. Once we understand your desired outcome, be it a daily driver, or a weekend show classic, we’ll examine the vehicle together, create list of specific service needs, rank those in order of importance, always with safety and reliability at the top, and build a plan to get you and your vehicle back on the road. You might be surprised just how cost efficient it is to get your car back to that reliable, turn key experience. You might be further surprised just what value you are building into your car, in particular the Mercedes SL and coupes have become highly collective investments.
